We visited in Spring time and the city looked beautiful. Clean air, blue skies, beautiful flowers, blossoming trees and clean waterways. City is generally very clean and public transport is easy and pleasant to use. So many excellent restaurants, we didn't have a single bad meal. Neighbourhoods felt safe too. We struggled to find any proper nightlife, but there are plenty of bars, cafes and squares to hang out in.

Great modern city of around 300,000 people, integrating new with the historic older squares, buildings and port infrastructure. New accommodation facilities being built on the harbour shore areas. Easy to cycle, walk and catch buses and trains! Very friendly people!

I really liked my first time in Sweden.
I really liked my first time in Sweden. The people seem very friendly, there is a lot to see, and I was lucky to have amazing weather during the entire trip.
Malmö is quite big, so while you can walk everything, it may be more comfortable to get a day pass for the public transport. I walked on average 20 km each day, which may have been less if I had made a concrete plan on which route to go, but I tend to go with the flow - and there's a lot of flow in Malmö.
The Disgusting Food Museum was fun, if you're into some out of the ordinary things to do, but there are also plenty of other museums, churches, and things to see in every street.
The city is a little bit dirty, but not outrageously so, and it's quite fresh as it is located directly next to the see. The beach is nice too, there's a beach for dogs, and space to swim.
I also spent one day in Lund, which is really easy to reach and an extremely nice University town with some great churches and architecture. I thought I could do this in a few hours, but I could have spent the entire day there.
I feel like I could come back for another week and still discover more things in both places, so I will definitely be returning.

Malmo is one of the greatest cities I ever visited.
Malmo is one of the greatest cities I ever visited. Firstly, the surroundings are very nice. The city has a beach, many parks, much of restaurants, museums, activity friendly places. Secondly, everyone is really nice and relaxed and the overall vibe is home-like. I would totally recommend to anyone who wants a short or even long city break.

An interesting city and the 'Cathedral' - St Petri - is a stunning building with what is said to be the largest organ in Scandinavia. Certainly well worth a visit. The various squares with restaurants are cosy and fun. The live music bar (Irish themed) called Fagan's was fun and full of atmosphere. The 'Folk & Rock' bar/live music house in the Lilla Torg square was full of memorabilia and whilst we didn't see the band playing there that night, we went for a coffee after church the following day.
We wanted to visit so much more, but sadly we didn't have the time.

Malmo is a gorgeous little city, buildings are beautiful , architecture is amazing. The restaurants are nice and big variety. The center is very walk-able. Nice shopping and great pubs, weather was amazing.
I think the booking app had problems, at beginning I had selected 2 rooms 4 guests, but I didn’t know how would it happened I booked 1 family rooms by guarding by the booking.com. Likely I was choosing free cancellation before 6:00 pm made me possible change booking but, another problem happened not including breakfast! Anyway I had difficulty time staying in Radisson at Malmo, paying much more money than I expected.
The hostel reception girl was very nice and helpful!
The rooms are standard but themed so pleasant but not really very different from any other hotel.
The staff were fabulous, restaurant and breakfast very good - breakfast area tiny.
Good location for visiting Malmo using the train but you have to go into central
Malmo to get the train, too far from Malmo for an evening out but great harbor location for a wander. Free parking was the attraction for us as we were on a road trip and Malmo central hotels charged.
We have stayed at many Scandic hotels and one of the best things about them is their breakfast offering. This hotel's was a little bit on the basic side but it did have all you come to expect in terms of warm food, continental, Swedish and fruits and yogurts.
Room was very clean.
Location, in the heart of Malmo and it's historic centre is ideal. Also only a 10min walk from central train station. Perfect.
The location is a short distance from Malmo city centre, but with good transport. Healthy breakfasts are available in the lobby cafe. We loved the 'orangery', an airy room where we could bring our meals and eat there. This is a new hotel with architect-designed decor, and a gym, and is ideal for an business guest. Our rooms also had a small kitchenette.
An all-around great choice. The hotel has personality and there's a cool vibe throughout the property. The breakfast spread is wonderful. My only regret is that I only got to spend one full night there rather than two because my flight into CPH got delayed. :( This is now my primo choice for stays/layovers in the CPH/Malmo area from this point forward.
Villa room is great for anyone who wants to have a quiet peaceful stay in a decent environment in Malmo Sweden . Access to bus not too far. Very great environment for walking and jogging. I suggest if Villa room can at least leave 2 or 3 tea bags for customers in case they arrive late since shops are far from the place. Good value for money.
I liked the front desk lady that served us when we checked in and she was also there to check us out. Very friendly and called us a cab. The hotel is in a central location, to the Malmo Central station and universities, great for everyone visiting Malmo and if you are not fussy. We enjoyed the breaffast buffet.
The Hotel overlooks a main square only 5 minutes walk from Malmö Central Station. The location is superb and the staff so helpful and friendly. I think it will be impossible to find a better breakfast anywhere - it was amazing with hot and cold choices to make a 5* hotel review its offerings
Great hotel near golf course on the outskirts of Malmö. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Travelled with two dogs and had room on ground floor with easy access to outside. Chose to eat dinner in my room, but was told dogs were welcome in the restaurant. Will definitely stay there again!
Hotel is ok value for money, good location, parking, ticks all boxes, but breakfast is so surprisingly good that it is worth staying there only because of that. Great variety, all prepared excellent, nothing is ever missing, bread is superb... 3 star hotel and 5 star breakfast.
First Hotel Jörgen Kock is a great choice for a train traveller that needs an overnight stay. Easy walking distance from Malmö Central, and a nice and friendly place. Rooms are relatively large and comfy, and the breakfast is great.
The location was perfect for a stay in Malmo
The hotel is full of character and features
historical pieces of furniture and information about them
All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and spoke perfect English
Super friendly reception staff, very comfy bed. While the hotel looks a bit dated, it's quite historical. Right in the center of Malmö and only a few steps away from restaurants, bars and also the train station.
The location was nice with good playgrounds nearby. The concept of the hotel was fun. The beds were comfy. The check-in was smooth and it was good to get a message with all the information before arriving.
The hotel has a very nice relaxing atmosphere. Location is great, only one minute to walk to Malmö Central Station.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The beds were soft and comfortable.
Very cool small hotel walking distance from Malmo C. Clean good size rooms compact hotel cute breakfast area and very nice breakfast! It was a good value for money
